Hurricane Ivan devastatingly damaged and destroyed many homes, schools and buildings when it struck Grenada in 2004.

With several Hopelink teams sent to the site in 2005 and 2006, The Beacon Learning Centre and the Morne Longue School Re-build and Enlarge Project were completed.
